Why do screws come loose and how can I prevent this?
Join us on a journey to discover why bolts can loosen, come undone, and even unscrew under unforeseen and unaccounted-for operating forces. What can this result in, and how can I counteract these phenomena with simple means? All of these topics will be explained in our presentation. Afterwards, we will make the theoretical content tangible for you with a Junker vibration test according to DIN 65151.

Proactive screw joint analysis: The secret weapon against daily production madness
Screw joint analysis is a crucial factor for quality and safety in assembly processes. In this presentation, you'll learn exactly what the term means and why it's indispensable in many industries.

Fatigue strength of thread-forming screws in the design
In practice, bolt design often only considers the assembly state and static, i.e., time-invariant, loads. This neglects oscillating bolt stresses resulting from changing load conditions. This presentation will demonstrate how new findings on thread-forming bolts can be applied and how necessary load data can be collected in the early development phase, for example, using FEM. This enables simplified strength verification for the operationally safe use of bolts.

Effective securing of electrical contact screw connections
Based on the above-mentioned initial situation, the presentation will present the essential functional criteria for the creation and maintenance of an electrical contact screw connection using copper conductors as an example.

Everything is different now! - ?
In 2024, and especially in 2025, more technical regulations will be published than ever before. This presentation will explain what the new standards and guidelines in screw technology mean for users in all industries. It will also provide a "best of" overview of the innovations and their associated consequences.

Your path to networked manufacturing and maintenance
More and more manufacturing companies are considering the use of digital, intelligent, and, above all, integrable torque and angle tools or testing devices in their work environments. The motivations are diverse and range from increased efficiency and quality assurance to partial automation and optimization of processes.

Hydraulic impulse wrenches, why they are preferable
Hydraulic impulse wrenches are specialized tools widely used in industry and trades. They are characterized by their ability to generate high torques while placing little physical strain on the user. These devices utilize hydraulic energy to produce precise and controlled rotary movements, making them a preferred choice for applications requiring high preload forces. This works by converting pressure energy into mechanical energy. A hydraulic fluid is compressed in a closed system, resulting in an increase in pressure. This pressure is then used to move a piston, which transfers torque to the screw. Precise pressure control makes it possible to generate different torques, which is beneficial for different applications. A key feature of these impulse wrenches is the ability to choose between different drive types.

Demand-oriented qualification in screw technology – identify and acquire specialist skills using modern learning methods
The causes of disruptions in the manufacturing process, quality problems, or even defective screw connections are diverse and complex. Every employee can contribute to error detection and error prevention through specialist knowledge, provided they have the necessary theoretical and practical expertise.
