EJOT – much more than “just” a screw

Increasingly strict environmental protection regulations are forcing automobile manufacturers to radically move away from "business as usual" and towards alternative forms of propulsion, above all electromobility. The fastening technology specialist EJOT can rely on innovative manufacturing technologies in the areas of cold forming and plastic injection molding in order to be able to offer customers tailor-made solutions here too.

In the area of high-voltage contacting, special metal-plastic components and high-precision copper parts are used. EJOT offers a wide range of suitable connecting elements for battery systems, for example the flow-hole forming FDS® screw with a special sealing function, the EJOWELD® friction element welding or, in the event that the battery box is made of plastic, the self-tapping EVO PT® screw.

EJOT also offers connection solutions for a wide range of applications in the field of renewable energies. The connection technology specialist is currently focusing on the trend topic of “heat pumps”. For example, fastenings in EPP foams inside heat pumps can be made using a friction welding process with the innovative EPPsys RSD. And for the self-tapping screw connection of housings, frames and a wide range of metal struts, the SHEETtracs® screw is the first choice - even for sheets less than 1.5 mm thick.
